In India, where socio-economic disparities often exacerbate healthcare accessibility, education opportunities, and overall welfare, the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) becomes crucial. Founded with a vision to uplift marginalized communities and promote equity, Hem Vidya Trust aims to serve society through our efforts in the field of healthcare, nutrition, education and socio-economic welfare. India, a country of vast diversity and cultural richness, also grapples with significant socio-economic challenges, with around 146 million people living below the poverty line. Access to healthcare remains uneven, with rural and economically disadvantaged populations often left without adequate medical care. Education, especially for children from underprivileged backgrounds, faces numerous hurdles, hindering their socio-economic mobility and perpetuating cycles of poverty. Our multifaceted approach aims not only to provide immediate relief through healthcare and social welfare initiatives but also to foster sustainable change through education.
